One of the largest seacoast fortifications built in the US, Fort Adams provides a visual record of military history for the 1820s to the end of WWII. The walls of the fort, the "listening tunnels," and panoramic views of Narragansett Bay combine to make this an interesting and educational stop. Guided tours are available daily on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm beginning in late May.

The silver Tiffany’s trophy, which is displayed in the museum year-round, is aptly named for Hall of Fame founder Jimmy Van Alen. This summer some of the world’s best tennis players will meet on the grass courts of Newport to vie for the Van Alen Cup.
Let Jamestown Newport Ferry get you there! Let's hope we can hear the music play this year. The festival at the Fort features music, food and crafts, beer and wine gardens and a number of displays. The festival runs rain or shine. Stay tuned for express ferry tickets to be posted soon.
