The Jamestown Newport Ferry will have an express run to the Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival, which will feature fried calamari, oysters, fish tacos, lobster rolls, signature Diageo cocktails and cold Whalers beer. Event will have live music and family fun, all beneath the Wharf’s tents. Neighboring restaurants and fisherman’s associations will serve their most celebrated seafood dishes as well—lobster dinners, clam chowder, stuffed quahogs, clam cakes, shrimp, scallops, raw oysters and clams. Cafe-style seating will be set up throughout the Wharf and proceeds from festival bars benefit Oliver Hazard Perry, R.I.’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel. The tall ship will be at the dock.
