Discover Newport, the travel and tourism organization led by our industry friend Evan Smith, is coordinating a new fun event this year dedicated to recreational boating in Newport. The First Annual Harbor Lights Newport, will take place on September 20-21, 2019. Discover Newport is encouraging all marinas, docks and waterfront venues to decorate in a festive manner with lights and decor and they are also asking transient and seasonal boat owners to illuminate and decorate their boats in their slips (this is not a parade). Flyers are available at the Conanicut Marina desk at 1 East Ferry Wharf. Let's show them our Jamestown spirit!
The 3rd Annual Newport Holiday Stroll will be returning to the City-By-The-Sea the first weekend of December.
From now until December 18, recurring weekly on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Newport Vineyards, located at 909 East Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
