A free summer concert series titled “Music at the Fort” will continue with performances on Aug. 15 and Sept. 19. The Ravers will play on Aug. 15, and the other dates are to be determined. Concerts are for all ages and guests are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the lawn while they enjoy the music and enjoy views of Narragansett Bay. Parking is free and refreshments will be available from Newport Storm brewery and a rotating lineup of food trucks.
We are exhibiting at the 49th annual @Newport International Boat Show—come see us on September 12–15 in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.
Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival will feature fried calamari, oysters, fish tacos, lobster rolls, signature cocktails and cold Whaler’s Brewing beer. Event will feature live music and family fun, all beneath the Wharf’s tents. Neighboring restaurants and fisherman’s associations will serve their most celebrated seafood dishes as well—lobster dinners, clam chowder, stuffed quahogs, clam cakes, shrimp, scallops, raw oysters and clams. Cafe-style seating will be set up throughout the Wharf and proceeds from festival bars benefit Oliver Hazard Perry, R.I.’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.
