Take the Jamestown Newport Ferry to Fort Adams, and watch the 12 Meter World Championship! The International 12 Metre Class’ 2019 World Championship will be held in Newport, Rhode Island (USA) from July 8- 13, hosted by the Ida Lewis Yacht Club and the 12 Metre Yacht Club. It will be the largest-ever gathering of 12 Metre yachts in the United States featuring more than two-dozen boats from seven countries. International teams comprised of elite sailors including America’s Cup veterans and Olympic medalists will represent Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway and the United States.
We are exhibiting at the 49th annual @Newport International Boat Show—come see us on September 12–15 in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.
Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival will feature fried calamari, oysters, fish tacos, lobster rolls, signature cocktails and cold Whaler’s Brewing beer. Event will feature live music and family fun, all beneath the Wharf’s tents. Neighboring restaurants and fisherman’s associations will serve their most celebrated seafood dishes as well—lobster dinners, clam chowder, stuffed quahogs, clam cakes, shrimp, scallops, raw oysters and clams. Cafe-style seating will be set up throughout the Wharf and proceeds from festival bars benefit Oliver Hazard Perry, R.I.’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.
