Nautilus, a New York 40, had repairs that necessitated the removal and straightening of her toe rail tee track and replacement of the bow pulpit rails, stanchions and lifelines. Repairs were also necessary to her keel and hull including several holes through, rudder removal, bearing replacement and Edson steering system repairs. Her hull was refinished with Awlgrip topcoat. All repairs were completed under budget by CMS staff and she was re-launched early spring 2012 for long-time customer and proud owner, Terry Sullivan of Boston, MA.
Wind, a Hinckley 42, came ashore from her mooring during Irene due to another breakaway vessel who cut her two pennants.
Repairs necessitated the replacement of her teak bulkworks and rub rails, and of her stainless steel pulpit/pushpit rails, stanchions and lifelines, keel, rudder and steering system repairs, hull repairs and fairing. She was then expertly finished with a new Awlgrip topcoat and clearcoat with gold leaf hand-applied to her cove and name. Finally, ten coats of varnish were carefully applied to all bright teak surfaces.
Repairs were completed on budget by CMS and Newport Yacht Joinery. Wind was re-launched early spring and ready for her proud owners Richard and Mary Bennett of Connecticut.

CMS performed a complete repower - removed blown engine, replaced with a Yanmar 4JH4 and attached all systems. Commissioned by CMS yearly.
Weatherly was a new customer for CMS in 2008/2009. Wooden keel plank repairs underway to secure water leaks forward of cast keel. Scheduled for topside paint before launching.
Classic wooden sailing vessel, yard-maintained for several years. Routine varnish underway, topsides being prepped for Z Spar 99 Gloss White Finish.
