The Jamestown Newport Ferry transports riders between Jamestown Village and Newport. This Hop-On Hop-Off service makes five stops—Jamestown, Rose Island Lighthouse, Fort Adams, Ann Street Pier and Perrotti Park—so you can explore shops, restaurants and attractions. NOTE: Rose Island stop is closed for the 2020 season.)

Coastal Queen is cruising through to the new year! Coastal Queen offers maximum comfort and spectacular views of the lighthouses and historic sights that surround magnificent Newport Harbor and lower Narragansett Bay. Coastal Queen’s main salon, located on the lower deck, is warm and completely weatherproof. Lots of glass and teak wood-table seating offers spectacular sightseeing opportunities. A grand teak wood center bar offers your favorite beverages. The upper deck is open air, though the extended hard top and the side curtains add warmth. In line with state guidelines, capacity will be limited to allow for social-distance seating and surfaces are sanitized on each run. Ticket are $35. Valid ID (for bar service) and cloth face covering is required to board. Cruises depart from Bowen's Wharf, Newport and Jamestown. Sites Along the Cruise include— • Lighthouses of Goat Island, Rose Island, Castle Hill and Lime Rock • Harbor mansions and churches • Historic Fort Adams and Jamestown Village • The Newport Pell Bridge, Clingstone and Hammersmith Farm • A local seal or two
he light show begins at dusk outside The Breakers. The exterior of this great house and its landscape will be awash in light. Also, the Children’s Cottage will be outlined in lights and visitors will be able to peek through the windows at Santa’s Workshop inside. Holiday music will fill the air and refreshments such as hot chocolate and sweets will be available to purchase at the Welcome Center. The Breakers will be open seven days a week except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On December 24, last tour admission will be at 3 p.m.
